Biovision | Risedronate sodium | B3365
Description: Risedronate (risedronic acid), is an orally administered pyridinyl bisphosphonate that inhibits osteoclast-mediated resorption of bone and modulates bone metabolism in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis. It displays antimalarial activity and also inhibits protein prenylation by preventing the transfer of a farnesyl pyrophosphate group to parasite proteins.
