Product Description
Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor 3 Antibody (C-term) [AMM06384G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor 3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 828-857 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor 3.
Cellular Localisation: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein
Molecular Weight: 98879
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: GRM3
Gene ID: 2913
Function: G-protein coupled receptor for glutamate. Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and modulates the activity of down-stream effectors. Signaling inhibits adenylate cyclase activity.
Summary: Tissue Location: Detected in brain cortex, thalamus, subthalamic nucleus, substantia nigra, hypothalamus, hippocampus, corpus callosum, caudate nucleus and amygdala.
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
Synonyms: Metabotropic glutamate receptor 3, mGluR3, GRM3, GPRC1C, MGLUR3
