Product Description
Biovision | IL36G (Human) ELISA Kit | E5072-100
Description: Interleukin-36 gamma (IL36G) also known as interleukin-1 family member 9 (IL-1F9) is a member of interleukin IL-1 like proinflammatory cytokine family. It binds to and signals through the IL1RL2/IL-36R receptor which in turn activates NF-kappa-B and MAPK signaling pathways in target cells. IL36G involves in skin inflammatory response by acting on keratinocytes, dendritic cells and indirectly on T-cells to drive tissue infiltration, cell maturation and cell proliferation. IL36G plays an important role in inflammation response and differentiation. IL36G is a biomarker for psoriasis skin lesions, both for diagnostic purposes and measurement of disease activity during the clinical course. It might also provide a future drug target, because of its potential amplifier role in TNFα- and IL-17 pathways in psoriatic skin inflammation. BioVision’s IL36G (Human) ELISA Kit is used for the quantitative detection of IL36G in serum, plasma, tisshomogenates and other biological fluids. It is based on the principle of sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is pre-coated on 96-well plates. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody are added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with wash buffer. The HRP enzymatic reaction is detected using TMB-substrate. Finally, an acidic stop solution terminates the enzymatic reaction. The color developed is directly proportional to the amount of IL36G in the sample.
