Product Description
Biovision | E4735 | Troponin I (Human) ELISA Kit DataSheet
Troponin I is the inhibitory subunit of troponin, the thin filament regulatory complex which confers calcium-sensitivity to striated muscle actomyosin ATPase activity. BioVision's Troponin I ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in the kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to human Troponin I. Standards or samples were added to the micro ELISA plate that reacts with biotinylated detection antibody specific for human Troponin I and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate which on the addition of substrate form blue color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of human Troponin I. The concentration of human Troponin I in the samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
