Product Description
Proteolytic cleavage of the coagulation factor X produces the activated form, Factor Xa. Factor Xa participates in the prothrombinase complex of the coagulation cascade to induce blood clotting. This native protein product is prepared by taking factor X isolated from fresh bovine plasma and treating it with the factor X activator from Russell's viper venom. The product is subsequently modified using the active-site inhibitor EGRck.
