Product Description
ICAM-5 is a cell surface glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. ICAM-5 is involved in adhesion and is a ligand for the leukocyte adhesion protein LFA-1, like other ICAMs. Human ICAM-5 is expressed on the surface of telencephalic neurons and displays two types of adhesion activity, homophilic binding between neurons and heterophilic binding between neurons and leukocytes.
