Product Description
Hec1 is a component of the kinetochore outer layer, which is required for chromosome segregation and spindle checkpoint activity. It is required for kinetochore integrity and the organization of stable microtubule binding sites in the outer plate of the kinetochore. It is overexpressed in a variety of human cancers and maybe used for the prognosis of primary breast cancer.
