Product Description
Human growth hormone (hGH) is a member of the somatotropin/prolactin family of hormones which play an important role in growth control. This hormone is expressed in the pituitary gland. Among the various functions of hGH is to stimulate the liver and other tissues to secrete IGF-1, stimulate the differentiation and proliferation of myoblasts, and stimulate amino acid uptake and protein synthesis in muscle and other tissues. Deficiency in hGH leads to short stature and diseases including Kowarski Syndrome.
