Ephrin-B1/2 (Q324) polyclonal Antibody | BS1398 | Bioworld
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat
Application: IHC
Application Range: IHC: 1:50~1:200
Background: Ephrin-B1 transduces outside-in signals through C-terminal protein interactions that effect integrin-mediated cell attachment and migration. The distribution of ephrin-B1 in the developing retina suggests that it influences retinal axon mapping along the dorsal-ventral axis and may be involved in intratectal development The transmembrane ligand ephrin-B2 and its receptor tyrosine kinase EphB4 are specifically expressed on arterial and venous endothelial cells, respectively. Bidirectional signals mediated by both proteins play an important role in vascular development. Ephrin-B2 is essential for the normal morphogenesis of the embryonic vasculature and is angiogenic in tumors. It has been identified as an important target of chemotherapeutic treatments.
