Product Description
GPR235 polyclonal Antibody | BS62588 | Bioworld
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human
Application: WB
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Background: Plasma membrane transporter mediating the uptake by cells of the water soluble vitamin B2/riboflavin that plays a key role in biochemical oxidation-reduction reactions of the carbohydrate, lipid, and amino acid metabolism. Humans are unable to synthesize vitamin B2/riboflavin and must obtain it via intestinal absorption. May also act as a receptor for 4-hydroxybutyrate (Probable) .1 Publication1 Publication5 Publications (Microbial infection) In case of infection by retroviruses, acts as a cell receptor to retroviral envelopes similar to the porcine endogenous retrovirus (PERV-A) .
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: GPR17A2 polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of GPR17A2 protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 50 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
