BMP-8A (Q299) polyclonal Antibody | BS3092 | Bioworld
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat
Application: WB IHC IF
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000 IHC: 1:50~1:200 IF: 1:50~1:200
Background: Bone morphogenic proteins (BMPs) are members of the TGFβ superfamily. BMPs are involved in the induction of cartilage and bone formation.BMP-8 is thought to be involved in early development, as detectable expression has not been found in adult organs. Two BMP-8 proteins exist, namely BMP-8A and BMP-8B (also designated OP-2), and are encoded by two distinct genes.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: BMP-8A (Q299) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of BMP-8A protein. This Antibody may cross-reacts with BMP-8B protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 45 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
