MEK-6 (phospho-S207) polyclonal Antibody | BS4124 | Bioworld
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse,Rat
Application: WB IHC
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000 IHC: 1:50~1:200
Background: Mitogen activated protein kinase kinase 6 (MEK6 or MKK6) belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family and the MAPK kinase subfamily (MAP2K, MKK or MEKs) . MEK6, closely related to MEK3, catalyzes the concomitant phosphorylation of a threonine and a tyrosine residue in MAP kinase p38, thus activating it, in response to inflammatory cytokines and environmental stress
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: p-MEK-6 (S207) polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of MEK-6 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser207
Molecular Weight: ~ 37 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Dual specificity mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 6; MAP kinase kinase 6; MAPKK 6; MAPK/ERK kinase 6; MEK 6; Stress-activated protein kinase kinase 3; SAPK kinase 3; SAPKK-3; SAPKK3; MAP2K6; MEK6; MKK6; PRKMK6; SKK3
Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human MEK-6 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 207.
