Product Description
ATG4C Antibody [APG02048G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Monoclonal Antibodies
Host: Mouse
Species Reactivity: M
Specificity: This ATG4C monoclonal antibody is generated from mouse immunized with ATG4C recombinant protein.
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm.
Molecular Weight: 52497
Clone: Monoclonal
Gene Name: ATG4C
Gene ID: 84938
Function: Cysteine protease required for the cytoplasm to vacuole transport (Cvt) and autophagy. Cleaves the C-terminal amino acid of ATG8 family proteins MAP1LC3 and GABARAPL2, to reveal a C-terminal glycine. Exposure of the glycine at the C-terminus is essential for ATG8 proteins conjugation to phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) and insertion to membranes, which is necessary for autophagy. Has also an activity of delipidating enzyme for the PE-conjugated forms.
Summary: N/A
Form: Purified monoclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:500~1:1000
