Product Description
HPSE2 Antibody (C-term) [APR03760G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This HPSE2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 451-480 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human HPSE2.
Cellular Localisation: Secreted, extracellular space, extracellular matrix
Molecular Weight: 66596
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: HPSE2
Gene ID: 60495
Function: Binds heparin and heparan sulfate with high affinity, but lacks heparanase activity. Inhibits HPSE, possibly by competing for its substrates (in vitro) .
Summary: Tissue Location: Widely expressed, with the highest expression in brain, mammary gland, prostate, small intestine, testis and uterus. In the central nervous system, expressed in the spinal chord, caudate nucleus, thalamus, substantia nigra, medulla oblongata, putamen and pons. In the urinary bladder, expressed in longitudinal and circular layers of detrusor muscle. Found both in normal and cancer tissues
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
