Product Description
PTPN6 Antibody (Center) [APR05079G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This PTPN6 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 247-277 amino acids from the Central region of human PTPN6.
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Note=In neurons, translocates into the nucleus after treatment with angiotensin II (By similarity) Shuttles between the cytoplasm and nucleus via its association with PDPK1.
Molecular Weight: 67561
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: PTPN6
Gene ID: 5777
Function: Modulates signaling by tyrosine phosphorylated cell surface receptors such as KIT and the EGF receptor/EGFR. The SH2 regions may interact with other cellular components to modulate its own phosphatase activity against interacting substrates. Together with MTUS1, induces UBE2V2 expression upon angiotensin II stimulation. Plays a key role in hematopoiesis.
Summary: Tissue Location: Isoform 1 is expressed in hematopoietic cells. Isoform 2 is expressed in non-hematopoietic cells
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P, IF
Dilution: IF--1:100 WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500
