Product Description
SCN9A Antibody | 42-870 | ProSci
Host: Goat
Reactivity: N/A
Homology: Expected Species Reactivity based on sequence homology: Human, Mouse, Rat, Dog, Cow
Immunogen: The immunogen for this antibody is: C-KRKQEDVSATVIQR
Research Area: Other
Tested Application: E
Application: Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000.Western Blot:Preliminary experiments gave an approx 80kDa band in Human Brain (Cerebellum) , Mouse brain and Rat Ovary lysates after 0.1ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 225kDa according to NP_002968.1. The 80kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?
