DISEASE: Defects in ITGB4 are a cause of generalized atrophic benign epidermolysis bullosa (GABEB) [MIM:226650]. This nonlethal form of junctional epidermolysis bullosa is characterized by life-long blistering of the skin, associated with hair and tooth abnormalities.
