Product Description
Avasimibe is an orally bioavailable inhibitor of the acyl coenzyme A: cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) (IC₅₀ = 60 nM). Avasimibe also inhibits major drug metabolizing enzymes such as CYP2C9 (IC₅₀ = 2.9 µM ), CYP1A2 (IC₅₀ = 13.9 µM), and CYP2C19 (IC₅₀ = 26.5 µM).
Avasimibe is an orally bioavailable inhibitor of the acyl coenzyme A: cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) (IC₅₀ = 60 nM).
