Product Description
5-Nitroso-8-quinolinol is a quinoline inhibitor of histone deacetylase (HDAC). It inhibits HDAC activity in vitro and causes reactive oxygen species, DNA damage and apoptosis in MCF-7 breast cancer cells at a concentration of 10 μM. It exhibits anticancer activity in mice. It inhibits growth of Toxoplasma gondii with an EC₅₀ of 80 nM.
