Product Description
ACE-2 substrate, Fluorogenic is a useful fluorogenic substrate for angiotensin converting enzyme-2 (ACE-2), a zinc-dependent carboxypeptidase with 42% amino acid sequence identity to ACE1. Unlike Mca-YVADAPK(Dnp)-OH (Cat. No. B2717), this substrate is not cleaved by caspases. This peptide substrate contains a highly fluorescent 7-methoxycoumarin group that is efficiently quenched by resonance energy transfer to the 2,4-dinitrophenyl group. This substrate is useful for inhibitor screening and kinetic analysis. Ex: 328 nm, Em: 393 nm.
