Product Description
LIN28 is an RNA-binding protein that regulates the maturation of the let-7 microRNAs through its two distinct cold shock and zinc-knuckle domains. LIN28 inhibitor LI71 binds the cold shock domain of LIN28 and suppresses the activity of LIN28 against let-7 in leukemia cells and embryonic stem cells. LI71 shows an IC₅₀ of ~7 μM in the fluorescence polarization assay using LIN28 and pre-elements of members of the let-7 family.
