Product Description
Triclabendazole is a benzimidazole anthelminthic drug that binds to tubulin. TCBZ is used to treat liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica) infections in cattle and humans. It is effective against fascioliasis in sheep at a dose of 10 mg/body weight. Triclabendazole (5 μM) protects yeast cells from death induced by α-synuclein, oxidants and heat stress. It decreases the intracellular level of cyclic AMP and triggers the translocation of the stress-resistance transcription factor Msn2 from the cytosol into the nucleus in yeast cells.
