Product Description
Nesfatin-1, a polypeptide produced by cleavage of the NEFA/nucleobindin-2 (NUCB2), is a secreted protein, expressed in the appetite-control hypothalamic nuclei. Nesfatin is involved in the regulation of the feeding behavior. Intracerebroventicular injection of nesfatin-1 reduces body weight in rats be affecting the animal food intake.
