Usage Note: Always centrifuge tubes before opening . It is recommended to centrifuge at 12000 rpm for 1 minute.Then reconstitute the lyophilized Human Annexin V/ANXA5 protein using the buffer we provided not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized Human Annexin V/ANXA5 protein product should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution, the protein should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) . Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Background: Annexin V (ANXA5 or Annexin A5) is a member of the annexin family of intracellular proteins that binds to phosphatidylserine (PS) in a calcium-dependent manner. Annexin V is a multifunctional protein that is highly expressed on the apical surfaces of syncytiotrophoblasts, this protein is an anticoagulant protein that acts as an indirect inhibitor of the thromboplastin-specific complex and plays an important role in haemostatic regulations, maintaining blood fluidity of the placenta. Annexin V is also a protein kinase C and phospholipase A2 inhibitor. It participate in inflammation, cellular signal transduction, growth and differentiation.Annexin V is important for normal CFTR chloride channel activity.
