Background: ACC synthase 8 belongs to a group fo enzymes which catalyze the conversion of S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM) into 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate (ACC), a direct precursor of ethylene. ACS8 is auxin inducible. Alternative names: 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate synthase 8, ACC synthase 8, S-adenosyl-L-methionine methylthioadenosine-lyase 8.
Reconstitution: N/A
Storage: Store at -20°C or -80°C, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please remember to spin the tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from material adhering to the cap or sides of the tube.
