Background: RBOHD (Respiratory burst oxidase homolog protein D) is a Calcium-dependent NADPH oxidase that generates superoxide. Is involved in the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) during incompatible interactions with pathogens and in UV-B and abscisic acid ROS-dependent signaling.
