Product Description
Biovision | Anti-Phospho-BRCA1 (S1423) Polyclonal Antibody | A2360
Description: The BRCA1 protein is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that plays a central role in DNA repair and has tumor suppressor functions. Among other functions, BRCA1 coordinates DNA repair, cell cycle arrests triggered by ionizing radiation, and transcriptional regulation of other genes involved in DNA repair and maintenance. Mutations in BRCA1 are observed in approximately 40% of inherited breast cancers and more than 80% of inherited breast and ovarian cancers.
