Biovision | CCL23 (Human) ELISA Kit | E5118-100
Description: CCL23 is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as Macrophage inflammatory protein 3 (MIP-3) and Myeloid progenitor inhibitory factor 1 (MPIF-1). It shows chemotactic activity for monocytes, resting T-lymphocytes, and neutrophils, but not for activated lymphocytes. CCL23 inhibits proliferation of myeloid progenitor cells in colony formation assays. It has also been attributed to an inhibitory activity on hematopoietic progenitor cells. CCL23 is a ligand for the chemokine receptor CCR1. CCL23 could be associated with induction of systemic sclerosis and acts as a serologically useful marker for disease activity. It’s a novel promising biomarker for the early diagnosis of cerebral lesions and might facilitate the prediction of stroke patient outcome. BioVision’s CCL23 (Human) ELISA Kit is used for the quantitative detection of CCL23 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. I based on the principle of sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is pre-coated on 96-well plates. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody are added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with wash buffer. The HRP enzymatic reaction is detected using TMB-substrate. Finally, an acidic stop solution terminates the enzymatic reaction. The color developed is directly proportional to the amount of CCL23 in the sample.
