Product Description
Biovision | E4812 | RTEL1 (Rat) ELISA Kit DataSheet
Regulator of telomere elongation helicase 1 is an ATP-dependent DNA helicase implicated in telomere-length regulation, DNA repair and the maintenance of genomic stability. It acts as an anti-recombinase to counteract toxic recombination and limits crossover during meiosis. A 96-well plate was coated with a capture antibody. BioVision’s RTEL1 (Rat) ELISA Kit is based on the Sandwich ELISA principle. A 96-well ELISA microplate was coated with capture antibody the biotin-conjugated antibody was used as a detection antibody. The standards, test samples, and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding the acidic stop solution. The density of color is proportional to the amount of RTEL1 captured from the samples.
