Product Description
ARG1 polyclonal Antibody | BS5618 | Bioworld
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human
Application: WB
Application Range: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Background: Arginase I (also designated liver-type arginase), which is expressed almost exclusively in the liver, catalyzes the conversion of arginine to ornithine and urea. The human arginase I gene, which maps to chromosome 6q23, encodes a 322 amino acid protein. Arginase I exists as a homotrimeric protein and contains a binuclear manganese cluster. Arginase II catalyzes the same reaction as arginase I, but differs in its tissue specificity and subcellular location. Specifically, arginase II localizes to the mitochondria.
Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: ARG1 polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of ARG1 protein.
Molecular Weight: ~ 38 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Names: Arginase1; Arginase 1; Arginase-1; Liver-type arginase; Type I arginase; ARG-1
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide, corresponding to amino acids 105-150 of Human ARG1.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Unmodification
Purification & Purity: The Antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE) .
