Product Description
MCL1 (Phospho-Ser159) polyclonal Antibody | BS65107 | Bioworld
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human,Mouse
Application: WB,IF/ICC,ELISA
Application Range: Immunofluorescence: 1/200 - 1/1000. ELISA: 1/10000. Not yet tested in other applications.
Background: BCL2 family apoptosis regulator (MCL1) Homo sapiens This gene encodes an anti-apoptotic protein, which is a member of the Bcl-2 family. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. The longest gene product (isoform 1) enhances cell survival by inhibiting apoptosis while the alternatively spliced shorter gene products (isoform 2 and isoform 3) promote apoptosis and are death-inducing. Storage & Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: Phospho-Mcl-1 (S159) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of Mcl-1 protein only when phosphorylated at S159.
Molecular Weight: ~ 39 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
