Product Description
CHPT1 Antibody (N-term) [APG02573G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This CHPT1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 7-33 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CHPT1.
Cellular Localisation: Golgi apparatus membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein
Molecular Weight: 45097
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: CHPT1 (HGNC:17852)
Gene ID: 56994
Function: Catalyzes phosphatidylcholine biosynthesis from CDP-choline. It thereby plays a central role in the formation and maintenance of vesicular membranes.
Summary: Tissue Location: Highly expressed in testis, colon, small intestine, heart, prostate and spleen. Also detected in kidney, skeletal muscle, pancreas, leukocytes, ovary and thymus. Weakly expressed in the brain, placenta and lung. Overexpressed in cancerous breast epithelial cell lines.
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: FC, WB
Dilution: FC--1:10~50 WB--1:1000
Synonyms: Cholinephosphotransferase 1, hCPT1, AAPT1-like protein, Diacylglycerol cholinephosphotransferase 1, CHPT1, CPT1
