Product Description
ALDH1A3 Antibody (N-term) [APG02908G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H, M
Specificity: This ALDH1A3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 24-51 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human ALDH1A3.
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q9JHW9}.
Molecular Weight: 56108
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: ALDH1A3
Gene ID: 220
Function: NAD-dependent aldehyde dehydrogenase that catalyzes the formation of retinoic acid (PubMed:27759097) . Has high activity with all-trans retinal, and has much lower in vitro activity with acetaldehyde (PubMed:27759097) . Required for the biosynthesis of normal levels of retinoic acid in the embryonic ocular and nasal regions; retinoic acid is required for normal embryonic development of the eye and the nasal region (By similarity) .
Summary: Tissue Location: Expressed at low levels in many tissues and at higher levels in salivary gland, stomach, and kidney
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
