Product Description
GNRHR Antibody (N-term) [APS00032G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This GNRHR antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 49-77 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human GNRHR.
Cellular Localisation: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Molecular Weight: 37731
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: GNRHR
Gene ID: 2798
Function: Receptor for gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) that mediates the action of GnRH to stimulate the secretion of the gonadotropic hormones luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) . This receptor mediates its action by association with G- proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Isoform 2 may act as an inhibitor of GnRH-R signaling.
Summary: Tissue Location: Pituitary, ovary, testis, breast and prostate but not in liver and spleen
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
Synonyms: Gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor, GnRH receptor, GnRH-R, GNRHR, GRHR
