Product Description
HDAC9 Antibody (N-term) [APG03023G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This HDAC9 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 2-32 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human HDAC9.
Cellular Localisation: Nucleus.
Molecular Weight: 111297
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: HDAC9
Gene ID: 9734
Function: Responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4) . Histone deacetylation gives a tag for epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Represses MEF2-dependent transcription.
Summary: Tissue Location: Broadly expressed, with highest levels in brain, heart, muscle and testis. Isoform 3 is present in human bladder carcinoma cells (at protein level) .
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IP, IF, IHC-P
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IP--1:100 IF--1:1, 000 IHC-P--1:100~500
