Product Description
HSD17B4 Antibody (Center) [APR10885G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This HSD17B4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 341-370 amino acids from the Central region of human HSD17B4.
Cellular Localisation: Peroxisome.
Molecular Weight: 79686
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: HSD17B4 (HGNC:5213)
Gene ID: 3295
Function: Bifunctional enzyme acting on the peroxisomal beta-oxidation pathway for fatty acids. Catalyzes the formation of 3-ketoacyl-CoA intermediates from straight-chain, 2-methyl-branched-chain fatty acids bile acid intermediates. With EHHADH, catalyzes the hydration of trans- 2-enoyl-CoA and the dehydrogenation of 3-hydroxyacyl-CoA, but with opposite chiral specificity (PubMed:10671535) .
Summary: Tissue Location: Present in many tissues with highest concentrations in liver, heart, prostate and testis
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500
