Product Description
KLHL2 Antibody (N-term) [APR17035G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This KLHL2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 77-103 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human KLHL2.
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton. Cell projection, ruffle. Cell projection. Cell projection, lamellipodium. Cytoplasm, cytosol. Note=A proportion colocalizes with the actin cytoskeleton. When over-expressed, colocalizes with NPTXR in perinuclear aggresomes (By similarity) .
Molecular Weight: 65975
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: KLHL2
Gene ID: 11275
Function: Component of a cullin-RING-based BCR (BTB-CUL3-RBX1) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex that mediates the ubiquitination of target proteins, such as NPTXR, leading most often to their proteasomal degradation (By similarity) . Responsible for degradative ubiquitination of the WNK kinases WNK1, WNK3 and WNK4. Plays a role in the reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton. Promotes growth of cell projections in oligodendrocyte precursors.
Summary: Tissue Location: Ubiquitous. Detected throughout the brain.
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
Synonyms: Kelch-like protein 2, Actin-binding protein Mayven, KLHL2
