Product Description
PFN2 Antibody (C-term) [AMM07111G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This PFN2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 110-139 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human PFN2.
Cellular Localisation: Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton.
Molecular Weight: 15046
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: PFN2
Gene ID: 5217
Function: Binds to actin and affects the structure of the cytoskeleton. At high concentrations, profilin prevents the polymerization of actin, whereas it enhances it at low concentrations. By binding to PIP2, it inhibits the formation of IP3 and DG.
Summary: Tissue Location: Highly expressed in brain, skeletal muscle and kidney and less strongly in heart, placenta, lung and liver
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
Synonyms: Profilin-2, Profilin II, PFN2
