Product Description
SEL1L Antibody (N-term) [APR04117G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This SEL1L antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 83-112 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human SEL1L.
Cellular Localisation: Endoplasmic reticulum membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein
Molecular Weight: 88755
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: SEL1L
Gene ID: 6400
Function: Plays a role in the endoplasmic reticulum quality control (ERQC) system also called ER-associated degradation (ERAD) involved in ubiquitin-dependent degradation of misfolded endoplasmic reticulum proteins (PubMed:16186509) . Enhances SYVN1 stability. Plays a role in LPL maturation and secretion. Required for normal differentiation of the pancreas epithelium, and for normal exocrine function and survival of pancreatic cells. May play a role in Notch signaling.
Summary: Tissue Location: Highly expressed in pancreas.
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
