Product Description
(Mouse) Ihh Antibody (N-term) [AMM08712G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: M
Specificity: This mouse Ihh antibody is generated from a rabbit immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 57-90 amino acids from the N-terminal region of mouse Ihh.
Cellular Localisation: [Indian hedgehog protein N-product]: Cell membrane; Lipid-anchor; Extracellular side. Note=The N-terminal peptide remains associated with the cell surface. Cell membrane.
Molecular Weight: 45485
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: Ihh
Gene ID: 16147
Function: Intercellular signal essential for a variety of patterning events during development. Binds to the patched (PTC) receptor, which functions in association with smoothened (SMO), to activate the transcription of target genes. Implicated in endochondral ossification: may regulate the balance between growth and ossification of the developing bones. Induces the expression of parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHRP) .
Summary: Tissue Location: In the embryo, detected in the developing gut, the growth zone of cartilage of developing long bones, epithelium and urogenital sinus. In the adult kidney, found in proximal convoluted and proximal straight tubule
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
