Product Description
CBX1 Antibody (C-term) [APR32620G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This CBX1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 128-155 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CBX1.
Cellular Localisation: Nucleus. Note=Unassociated with chromosomes during mitosis
Molecular Weight: 21418
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: CBX1
Gene ID: 10951
Function: Component of heterochromatin. Recognizes and binds histone H3 tails methylated at 'Lys-9', leading to epigenetic repression. Interaction with lamin B receptor (LBR) can contribute to the association of the heterochromatin with the inner nuclear membrane.
Summary: Tissue Location: Expressed in all adult and embryonic tissues.
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB, IHC-P, FC
Dilution: WB--1:1000 IHC-P--1:100~500 FC--1:10~50
