Product Description
PARP16 Antibody (C-term) [APR32273G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H
Specificity: This PARP16 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 215-244 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human PARP16.
Cellular Localisation: Endoplasmic reticulum membrane; Single-pass type IV membrane protein
Molecular Weight: 36383
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: PARP16 {ECO:0000303|PubMed:20106667, ECO:0000312|HGNC:HGNC:26040}
Gene ID: 54956
Function: Intracellular mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase that may play a role in different processes through the mono-ADP-ribosylation of proteins involved in those processes (PubMed:23103912, PubMed:22701565, PubMed:25043379) . May play a role in the unfolded protein response (UPR), by ADP-ribosylating and activating EIF2AK3 and ERN1, two important UPR effectors (PubMed:23103912) . May also mediate mono-ADP- ribosylation of karyopherin KPNB1 a nuclear import factor (PubMed:22701565) . May not modify proteins on arginine or cysteine residues compared to other mono-ADP-ribosyltransferases (PubMed:22701565) .
Summary: N/A
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
