Product Description
Mouse Dyrk1a Antibody (C-term) [AMM06428G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H, M
Specificity: This Mouse Dyrk1a antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 718-745 amino acids from the C-terminal region of mouse Dyrk1a.
Cellular Localisation: Nucleus speckle.
Molecular Weight: 85494
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: Dyrk1a
Gene ID: 13548
Function: Dual-specificity kinase which possesses both serine/threonine and tyrosine kinase activities. May play a role in a signaling pathway regulating nuclear functions of cell proliferation. Modulates alternative splicing by phosphorylating the splice factor SRSF6 (By similarity) . Exhibits a substrate preference for proline at position P+1 and arginine at position P-3. Has pro-survival function and negatively regulates the apoptotic process. Promotes cell survival upon genotoxic stress through phosphorylation of SIRT1. This in turn inhibits TP53 activity and apoptosis (PubMed:20167603) .
Summary: Tissue Location: Detected in brain (at protein level) . Expressed in a variety of embryonic and adult tissues. Expressed abundantly in neurons of the brain, spinal cord, and retina in developing embryos
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
