Product Description
RAMP3 Antibody (C-term) [AMM07512G] | Leading Biology
Product Category: Polyclonal Antibodies
Host: Rabbit
Species Reactivity: H, M
Specificity: This RAMP3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 90-118 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human RAMP3.
Cellular Localisation: Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Note=Moves from intracellular puncta to the plasma membrane in a RAMP3-dependent manner
Molecular Weight: 16518
Clone: Polyclonal
Gene Name: RAMP3
Gene ID: 10268
Function: Plays a role in cardioprotection by reducing cardiac hypertrophy and perivascular fibrosis in a GPER1-dependent manner. Transports the calcitonin gene-related peptide type 1 receptor (CALCRL) and GPER1 to the plasma membrane. Acts as a receptor for adrenomedullin (AM) together with CALCRL.
Summary: Tissue Location: Strongly expressed in lung, breast, immune system and fetal tissues.
Form: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Storage: Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Application: WB
Dilution: WB--1:1000
Synonyms: Receptor activity-modifying protein 3, Calcitonin-receptor-like receptor activity-modifying protein 3, CRLR activity-modifying protein 3, RAMP3
