Product Description
CAY10602 is an activator of SIRT1. The sirtuins (SIRTs) are NAD+-dependent histone deacetylases. SIRT1 alters gene expression by deacetylating transcription factors such as NF-κB, p53, and FOXO. CAY10602 suppresses the NF-κB-dependent induction of TNF-α by lipopolysaccharide in THP-1 cells at 20 μM and 60 μM. It is more potent as a suppressor of TNF-α release than resveratrol.
