Product Description
Ganoderic Acid is a triterpene found in Ganoderma mushrooms, commonly used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Ganoderic Acid is reported to display anti-tumor activity mediated through its inhibitory effect on NFKB and AP-1 as well as antimetastasis and anti-HIV activities. It reduces cell viability, expression of superoxide dismutase 1 (SOD1), SOD2, and SOD3, and production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in PC3 prostate cancer cells. Ganoderic acid A also acts as an inhibitor of the JAK-STAT3 signaling pathway.
