Product Description
Bostrycin is a tetrahydroanthraquinone isolated from Bostrychonema aloestre. It induces mitochondria-mediated apoptosis in the yeast saccharomyces cerevisiae, inhibits proliferation of human lung carcinoma A549 cells via downregulation of the PI3K/Akt pathway. It also displays activity against Myobacterium tuberculosis protein tyrosine phosphatase (MptpB) in vitro.
