Product Description
Lysozyme(LYZ) is a small protein with 14.7kDa molecular weight and a pl(isoelectric point) of 11.4, contains 129 amino acid. LYZ is a potent amtimicrobial enzyme, by catalytic hydrolysis of their cell wall peptidoglycan, which contains sugars and amino acids. The sugar component consists of A-(1,4)-linked N-acetylglucosamine and N-acetylmuramic acid. This compromises the bacterial cell wall and causes the bacterium to burst under the high internal osmotic pressure. BioVision OryzaExp™Lysozyme is derived from rice endosperm, which is animal component free, more bioactivity, also has high antimicrobialbioactivity, non-toxicity.
