Product Description
Chromogranin A is a member of the chromogranin/secretogranin family of neuroendocrine secretory proteins. It is found in secretory vesicles of neurons and endocrine cells. This protein is a precursor for biologically active peptides such as vasostatin, pancreastatin and parastatin. It can be used as a marker for carcinoid tumors, phenochromocytomas, paragangliomas and other neuroendocrine tumors.
