4-Aminonaphthalimide is an inhibitor of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP). It inhibits PARP with an IC₅₀ of 180 nM. It inhibits radiation-induced PARP in cancer cells, potentiating the cytotoxicity of γ-radiation.
